How often do you say No? If you are like me, then I am thinking, not very often. A lot of us do not know how to say no for all sorts of reasons. I have learned that no is a word that we must learn to say whenever it is needed to save ourselves from a lot of pain…to save our lives. Saying no is the key to happiness.
Say No to Unhealthy Relationships: When someone requests that you do something you would rather not do, even if it is a long time best friend. Although you really don’t want to hurt their feeling, you don’t want to disappoint them and you don’t want to jeopardise your friendship, say no. Love yourself enough to walk away from that situation. If they were really your friends, they will not make you do what you don’t want to do.
Say No to Circumstances: We blame circumstances for almost everything and give up because we have convinced ourselves that we cannot really do anything about it. Say no to whatever circumstances you may seemingly find yourself in. Take control and be in control. My hat goes off to so many people who are faced with very difficult circumstances but find strength from within to overcome, live on and live their dreams.
Say No to Modern Day addiction: This comes in so many different forms. It may be that you are continuously working until late at work, you are a potatoes couch, addicted to TV or video games or you are a smoker, shopaholic, drug addict and so many modern day addictions. Say no to it today. Find help and find a way to move on. Stop and live.
Say No to Procrastination: How often do we procrastinate? It could be that fitness regimen you have always wanted to start. That book you always wanted to write, that job you wanted to get, that course you wanted to do, that business you always wanted to start. Well, get on with it. It’s now or never.
Say No to Fear and Limiting Beliefs: Not believing in ourselves is one of the worst things we could ever do. You can tell when you start using phrases like, ‘I can’t do this because…’, ‘I don’t know………’ Eliminate fear and limiting belief by changing your sentences, I can’t becomes I can, I don’t know becomes I know, I can learn how to. Learn to live your best life now.
Say No to Dwelling on Past Mistakes: Simple truth is that you can’t move on to the next phase of life if you are still stuck in the past. You may be physically getting older but if you are stuck in the past, you are missing out on your life. Put away any past failures, lock them in a box and throw away the key. Start anew and become your best you.

This is an absolutely great post & site that you’ve got going! I completely agree that we have to say ‘no’ to all these things that try to limit us and sap our energy. We need to build up the strength to dream, believe and live!
Great going!!!
Thanks for your comment Linda. It is important to dream. In dreaming, we achieve.
